I am a teenager ahead of his class looking for a tutoring job in elementary through 7th or 8th grade math. I was wondering how much I should charge, keeping in mind that I don't have any references except some volunteer tutoring work in a special-help middle school class.

I will tutor 2 children. I am used with tutoring one child at a time, but now I will have lessons with 2 sisters who want to know English better. Considering that I ask the sum X for one kid, if I tutor 2 children, shall I ask for double X?

My daughter is 6 1/2 and going into 2nd grade next year. She is one of the youngest in her class and according to her teacher she is not quite where she should be at for her grade with regard to reading and writing. The teacher does not believe she has a learning issue. We'd like to give her a boost before entering 2nd grade next fall and so we will be getting her some tutoring. Based in her age and grade, how many hours per week of tutoring should she receive? Thanks for any advice.

I tutor part time for about two hours a day but the boy I tutor never has any energy, doesn't really try to solve the problems at all and just scribbles answers without talking, making it pretty obvious he doesnt want to be there

. The money is not much at all. I really do not know what to do because I like tutoring but someone who doesn't want to learn is very discouraging.

I am a freshman in high school and have had all 90's in the classes i want to tutor for. My friend will also be tutoring and I am putting her on the flier. We want to tutor in spanish, french, reading,spelling and math for grades seven and under. We're not sure what to charge as an hourly rate. Any suggestions?
