Tutoring Tooters is a complete musicianship method using the soprano recorder as the vehicle of instruction. The books works equally well for adult beginners and for students in middle-upper elementary grades. The book uses 97 short folk songs and easy melodies by the masters. Most melodies have lyrics so they can be both played and sung. Enrichment options are provided for guitar, piano or Orff instrument accompaniments. Musicianship processes are highlighted in each lesson within five categories - "tutor boxes:" melody, rhythm, meter, form, and recorder technique. The book has an easel backing so it stands on students' desks.

everything came on time and in good condition and when I needed to return an item, everything was taken care of.
Its nice to know that when a seller writes that they have good reputation for sending good quality items that you can trust that statement. The book I ordered was in perfect condition and arrived within the dates they said it would arrive.
Very difficult rhythms for beginners or teachers without much musical training start on page 8!
I do like the order of presentation of notes. Also there are many songs in each chapter to practice the new note presented in that section. Nice format with the built-in easel.
Just be aware of the challenging rhythms that are presented right from the very beginning.
