My daughter loves these books. She got them for Christmas and is already on book three.
Judy Moody-Hot Little Item for 8 Year Old Readers January 3, 2009
Judy Moody books seem all the rage right now and my 8 year old can't get enough of these books. I would say it is for younger boys and girls(6-10). My boy is working his way through this set right now. This box set made a quick and easy Christmas gift for him and he absolutely loved it. Anything that makes an 8 year old boy love to read is tops in my "book".

My just turned 8 yr old granddaughter absolutely loves these books. She reads aloud to me and it just thrills me that she loves to read, especially her favorite books -- Judy Moody books!

Harry Potter yes, but this is a great series to interest children in reading more at a younger level and with more variety. Back to the old days of a lead female character, a great inspiration for girls. Especially "tweens." br /br /

These books are marvelous for getting your grandbabies to read ...I pretend I don't have a clue about STINK or his sister and they also EXPLAIN to their less than with it Grandma WHAT the book is about ...I'm a firm believer in READING and these help me create an atmosphere of pleasure while reading for my girls. They also share with their friends so it has a ripple effect in book discussions with their peers ...br /
