5 out of 5 stars She likes the caterpillar!   December 28, 2008

I bought this for a girlfriend's daughter because it was one of my favorites growing up. I didn't realize that it came with a little stuffed very hungry caterpillar until I had it in my hands. But apparently it's the best part of the gift! She just turned one, loves her books, and now this one too!

4 out of 5 stars Very cut and fun, but I wish it was a bit bigger   December 26, 2008
I was dissapointed when the plush wouldn't fit through the holes in the book, I think that would have been a nice touch. (There is NO WAY he will fit) I guess I expected the book to be bigger.br /br /But my 6 month old loves it, and it is such a great book I had to give it 4 stars. It is well made and sturdy so I can see it lasting for a while.

Story is adorable, I bought for my granddaughter and even made her the matching quilt to go along with it!!

5 out of 5 stars My babies favorite   July 3, 2008

I heard on the radio that this book is the #1 best selling fiction book (including adult books) of all time. I remember reading it as a kid and now I read it to my son who is eight months. We began reading it at five months and he loves it! I take his hand and run it accross the little holes. I bought the toy seperatlly and he loves that too...br /This book teaches about days of the week, numbers, food items, and the life cycle of a caterpillar.

4 out of 5 stars I love this book!   March 30, 2008
My only qualm is that the book should be a bit bigger so the caterpillar toy can actually eat his way through all the foods... never mind, my two year old adores it anyway.
