We have been using this Advent devotional for years with our children. It is Christ centered. It is also appropriate for families with younger children and older teens.

My family used this book throughout my entire childhood. My mom even sent a photocopy of it to college with me. Even though I've never been a real "holy roller" some of my favorite memories from youth were sitting around the advent wreath at Christmastime and taking turns reading excerpts from this very book.
