Amazon.com Review
Joshua Harris follows up his bestselling II Kissed Dating Goodbye/I with IBoy Meets Girl/I, the story of how he met and married his wife, Shannon. Where Harris's first book encouraged readers to throw off modern ideas of romantic fixation, IBoy Meets Girl/I goes to the next level and urges single Christian men and women to pursue courtship, and ultimately marriage, thoughtfully and prayerfully. Knowing that many readers will balk at the idea of premeditated courtship, Harris insists that dating should not be emotional recreation but rather a careful decision rooted in obedience to God. While the anecdotes used to reveal true-to-life scenarios about dating pitfalls are somewhat elementary (and geared to those in their 20s), Harris succeeds in hammering home the point that obedience to God's word, selfless love, community, purity, and satisfaction in God are the most important aspect of any relationship. The last section of the book is particularly practical, discussing forgiveness of past sexual sin, questions to ask before tying the knot, and how an understanding of our sinful nature can lead to conflict resolution. For Harris's mere twentysomething years of life experience, his maturity and devotion to God are sincere evidence that he has indeed practiced what he has preached, resulting in a passionate relationship with the love of his life. 5 out of 5 stars Boy Meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship   December 12, 2008
Oh my goodness...Where do I begin? This book was wonderful, thorough, an easy read and extremely practical in the approach to the subject matter. "Boy Meets Girl" should be required reading for Christian teenagers, young adults and anyone who is considering entering into a marriage covenant. I truly wish I had this manual when I was younger. I know I will refer back to "Boy Meets Girl" a lot in the future. I want God to be pleased and glorified through my courtship, when that day arrives. Also, I now understand the true purpose of courtship and the difference between dating vs. courtship. I am blessed to have found "Boy Meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship." Thank you.

4 out of 5 stars Times have changed   November 10, 2008
I am a sophmore in college and I read this book with my boyfriend and most of it was very helpful and encouraging. However, I do not remember when this was written but today I feel like some of what is said is a little bit unrealistic. I would recommend this to anyone who is in a relationship and questioning where it is going or just looking for guidance. It has made me even more in awe of how amazing God is and how he just wants the best for us.

4 out of 5 stars "boy MEETS girl"   October 13, 2008
my boyfriend and i are reading this book and we are really growing and learning a lot from it. we take the time to talk about each chapter individually and ask what each other thought about it. Also, because its our first relationship, this book definitely helps serve as some guidelines... of course alongside with the bible. =)

5 out of 5 stars amazinggggg!   October 9, 2008
I read his first book "I kissed dating goodbye". I finally decided it was about time I read the second book for when/if I decide to date anyone. This book helped me so much and I really think everyone should read it! If you're thinking about getting it, def do.

Great book! Provides a solid alternative to the world's system, and a far better one at that, since it puts Christ first.br /br /This book is more for those in their early 20's, whereas Harris' first book "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" is more for teenagers.
