Product Description "Shoot," I muttered when the paper sliced my finger; I pulled it out to examine the damage. A single drop of blood oozed from the tiny cut. It all happened very quickly then. Edward threw himself at me, flinging me back across the table... I tumbled down to the floor by the piano, with my arms thrown out instinctively to catch my fall, into the jagged shards of glass. I felt the searing, stinging pain that ran from my wrist to the crease inside my elbow. Dazed and disoriented, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm-into the fevered eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires. Legions of readers entranced by Twilight are hungry for more and they won't be disappointed. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

Wonderful Suspense January 9, 2009 I read Twighlight during Thanksgiving weekend. It left me wanting more. I bought the rest of the series received it just before Christmas. Between Christmas New Year's, I read all 3 of the remaining books. They are wonderful! It's not just a teen book. If you like suspense, mystery of course vampires, this is the series for you.br /br /Stephanie Meyer has a gift for leaving the reader wanting more.
Great Book! January 9, 2009 I love this series and this is a great book. But I will say that of the four in the series this one was my least favorite.
Quality addiction January 9, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
About the book : in one word - addiction. Started in the evening and couldnt put away till the last page.. till 6 o'clock in the morning... :)br /About supply quality - very good, good quality, no damagesbr /
Grandmother Approved January 9, 2009 As a grandmother, I was very interested in what my grandsons were reading and when I learned that the Twilight Series was also being read by many adults, I decided to take a chance that I might find some common ground with my grandsons and other teenagers. br /br /Although the series cannot be ranked among the classics, like the classics The Twilight Series extolled virtue and self restraint. Because there might be many more teenagers reading Twilight than Pride and Prejudice or Wuthering Heights, I will take the examples of self restraint, deferred gratification and loyal friendship anywhere I can get them!br /br /As an adult, I found the books a little too heavy on young love and passion and a little light on literary conventions, but I would have no trouble reccomending these books to teenagers older than 15 or teens who are mature.br /br /The love of reading is a life long pleasure and anything which encourages reading as well as self restraint gets a double dip of my approval.
Amazon Rocks January 8, 2009 My daughter loves them! She was tickled pink when she received them for Christmas! Amazon was awesome! I will use them again!
