Product Description
PThis little boy will do Ianything/I to avoid an evening with the baby-sitter. He pleads with his parents. He begs. He bargains. Maybe he has a fever of a hundred and ten. Maybe he'll run away. IMaybe/I he won't say good-bye!

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars My kids love this book!   February 13, 2008
I didn't think that much of this book, but my 2-year olds love it, and want me to read it over and over again. It's helping my son learn to deal with his separation anxiety. So, I recommend it!

4 out of 5 stars Ease the good-byes   August 1, 2000

My young children enjoyed this book because they could identify with the content of a young boy who doesn't want his parents to leave him with a babysitter for the night. This delightful story proves that not all picture books have to be syrupy-sweet. Children see themselves in the young character who refuses to let his parents leave without a fuss. You know that old adage that misery loves company? Judith Viorst is the champion at depicting young children's complaints, and this selection is no exception. Share it with your young child today.
