Amazon does not seem to offer an adequate description of this item. It is basically a revised version of The Hebrew Scriptures: The Biblical Story of God's Promise to Israel and to Us (High School Textbooks), and is designed for a one-semester course for 9-11th grade students. This basically brings to life the Old Testament stories, and the new version gives an added emphasis to the spiritual content of the Old Testament. br /br /A few additions to this version include historical and biblical timelines. This work also features review questions, activities, maps, photos, and artwork. I was not that interested in my religion, but after i read this book I wanted to know so much more. This book is so interesting I coud not believe how detailed and exciting this book was. I recommend this book for eveyone even if you are not of the faith!
