Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Middle school is all about change. In the opening section, girls take a quiz to determine how they respond to change, then receive tips on how to cope with the big changes that theyre getting ready to face as they start middle school- switching classes, getting up earlier, and having their own lockers, all while learning to manage a new school, new teachers, new friends, and LOTS more homework and activities! The secret to feeling more confident as she starts middle school is having a little insight into what to expect. This book provides that information as well as "Smart Girls tips" from girls who have already made the grade in the big school.

I bought this book for my daughter and she loves it. It has a lot of good information for her and helpful tips about how to handle a variety of situations that young girls encounter upon entering middle school. It is written well and has great illustrations. A must have for young girls.

I got this book for my niece who was a little nervous about starting middle school. We both read it and I thought it had plenty of good information and tips. I think it also helped with some of her nervousness.

5 out of 5 stars A Must for Fifth Grade Girls   December 21, 2007
I bought this for a grand daughter who'ss getting ready for middle school next year. She's been 'freaking out' over the significant changes in middle school.br /br /I haven't read the entire book but I've skimmed it enough to see that it will be a life saver for her, and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a girl leaving the comfort of elementary school.
