Product Description
The Princeton Review realizes that acing the SSAT and ISEE exams is very different from getting straight A#8217;s in school. We don#8217;t try to teach you everything there is to know about English and math#8211;only what you#8217;ll need to score higher on the exam. There#8217;s a big difference. In iCracking the SSAT ISEE/i, we#8217;ll teach you how to think like the test writers andbrbrCorrectly answer analogy and synonym questions even when you#8217;re not sure what all of the words meanbrAce the reading comprehension section by learning to spot main ideas, topic sentences, and key wordsbrCrack the general math section by learning to avoid wrong answer choices that look right but are planted to fool youbrLearn how to turn complicated algebra problems into simple word problemsbrSimplify the SSAT writing sample and the ISEE essay using a sure-fire, step-by-step approachbrbrThis book includes five full-length practice tests, with questions like the ones you#8217;ll see on the actual SSAT and ISEE.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great book for SSAT   December 22, 2008
We bought the Peterson, Kaplan and Barrons books in addition to this and found this to be the best in terms of organization of materials and ease of use.

1 out of 5 stars Buyer beware, new cover same content   September 22, 2008

I purchased several editions of Princeton Reviews 2001, 2003, 2005 2007 and the content/test questions for the ISEE portion are exactly the same.br /I called Princeton Review and they pushed me off to Random House their publisher. Random house admitted that they only changed the cover because the test has not changed, yet they consider the books updated each year. If you are looking for additional questions for your child, do not buy any multiple Princeton Reviews. Try a different company.
