Excellent book, one of the best children's books since Dr. Suess. They are written through a childrens prospective. And are fun reading, over and over again.
Fun book for kids December 23, 2008
My 5 year old daughter checked this book out of the library and she loved it so much, we bought it. She's learned how to read along with the simple rhyming in the story plus the illustrations are fun as well. I'd recommend this book to anyone who has small kids that would love a fun book to read.
Delicious Rhyming December 20, 2008
This is a sweet book about a cranky baby who doesn't want to go shopping. The rhyming is catchy, the situations are both comic and familiar, and the ending is perfect. Highly recommended.

I feel this story is not exciting, it has too much "filler" that drags the story on. It didn't grab my children's attention. Sorry.

My son has loved this book since the first time I read it to him at 18 months...I cannot wait for more books by Anna Dewdney!!!
