I'm an I Spy junkie January 2, 2009 This Christmas I Spy book has led to HOURS of fun with my four year old. He and I can work on two pages per hour. He gets completely absorbed in the pictures, and he's very good at spotting. This has become a wonderful shared activity for us to do together. This book is great also, because once you finish each page, there are additional riddles at the back of the book. We have really worked on this book, and enjoyed it.
I Spy Christmas: A Book of Picture Riddles December 9, 2008 ISBN 0590458469 - The last I Spy book I had a chance to play with was a board book, aimed at very young readers. This one, for about ages 4 to 8 (although the book itself indicates no age range at all), is quite a leap ahead in difficulty.br /br /Fourteen large images hide various items; clues are given in rhyming text. Each detailed and colorful image takes up two facing pages. The photos are Christmas- and winter-themed and most have a slightly old-fashioned look. In the back are two pages of "extra credit riddles" and some interesting info about how the images in this book were created.br /br /Unlike some of the easier I Spy books, this one does not include the answers in the back. Photographer Walter Wick and author Jean Marzollo get tons of credit from me, first and foremost for being able to make these books for various levels of difficulty and making them all well. This one, an oversized hardcover, is an excellent Christmas book that will entertain long after Valentine's Day - even adults will find it hard to resist the challenge. br /br /- AnnaLovesBooks
Worth it. November 23, 2008 For the $4.00 shipping and the $0.01 for the book and not buying it for $12, worth it.
best money spent at Christmas February 14, 2008 the whole family loves the I spy books.. I sat amazed as I realized the four of us were there piling over each other to find the bear.
A fun book for the family to do together. January 12, 2008 The I Spy books are fun books to read and do with your children. This book is no exception. It's not too hard for the younger children or too easy for the older ones (adults included).
