beautiful mandalas January 5, 2009
Nice variety of beautiful mandalas. Very detailed. Sharpened pencils or extra finepoint pens needed. I think skill level would be 8+.
Customer Images So Helpful! December 20, 2008
I'm really enjoying this coloring book. What was so extremely helpful were the customer images provided that previewed what the mandalas look like and what they can look like. That particular customer also suggested using Prismacolor 4-in-1 markers, which are great for smaller areas as well as large. The markers are a bit pricey (about $3 per marker) but go on so nice and look so professional. I'm really getting my money's worth in sheer enjoyment and pleasure with the "finished product."

Mystical and intriguing indeed. I love the mandalas in this book. I am drawn to them in a mystical way. My coloring even turns out mystical, love it.
Well Worth The Price September 15, 2008
This is one of the best coloring books I have ever owned. I ordered two other mandala coloring books, but this one seems to be my favorite. The only problems I have with it is that the mandalas are printed on both sides of the page. The other two books are printed on one side, which helps prevent some color leakage, since I use markers over colored pencils. The other issue I have is that some of the designs do seem repetitive, but still all in all it's a great book.

I brought this book and a few similar ones on vacation and my daughter and I had a great time coloring them. I had made copies before we left home so we'd have the originals for the future. My daughter likes to use colored pencils and I like to use the fine tip markers. What beautiful works of art we created. We also picked up the Dover Decorative Tiles book (easier for older children/adults since the patterns are more intricate) and Dover Pinwheel Designs book which is more geometric patterns. You can share hours of fun with your children with these books.
