Fun but for older children January 2, 2009 Bought this for my 6 year old son. I did the outlining in the black and had him fill in the blanks. It was really messy for him he would squeaze to much out, even though I continually told him to just let it drip out. he kept touching all the pain and lost intrest really quickly, and I had to finish up for him. I think he needs to be alittle older before I bring it out again but it was fun for him until he lost intrest. The ending result is really cool and colorful, I recomend getting the refill kit when you by this product. the paint goes really fast.
Awesome gift for artistic child December 31, 2008 This is an easy-to-use kit for making plastic translucent designs that stick to glass, and look much like stained glass when the sun shines through them. It comes with everything needed to produce quality art that gives the budding artist a sense of satisfaction. The best age for this is probably four to eight, though with kids less than six some help might be needed.
A kids review December 10, 2008 My dad bought me this and I love it! My whole bathroom mirror is covered by my desighns. When my neighbor tried it (seven years old), she made a complete mess. I think it is easier for older kids then younger kids.
Love this stuff! September 29, 2008 I was definitely skeptical about this product, but it turned out to be pretty easy to use and it yields some cool window clings. There is no end to the creativity of your designs - you can use the book's designs or do absolutely anything you want. It takes a steady hand, but once you get used to the consistency needed to create a strong design, it's a piece of cake. My 6-year-old even got the hang of it. It pays to be a little more generous with the gel, than not. If you don't use enough of the gel, your design will be thin and tear when you try to move it to/from the window. Also, the cling is very sticky. If it gets folded over, your cling is pretty much ruined. So take care when you move it to/from the window. We love this and have bought more to give for birthday presents.
