kids just love it! March 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought the entire Junie B book collection when we were on holiday in the States last year as they are very difficult to buy in Australia. It was so exciting to find that they were available on cd! Lana Quintal reads them so, so well. My two kids (aged 6 and 8) love them so much that we've had to stop them listening to them at bedtime (which was why we bought them!) as they weren't getting to sleep! Too busy listening (and giggling!). The only slightly annoying thing is that you have to change cd's half way through stories. Not a big thing, just a little inconvenient is all. We have a 10 hour car trip coming up in a few weeks, and I know that we are going to relying heavily on these to keep us sane!
got the nurses rolling on the floor laughing February 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
hey, these are sooooo funny, I get the Junie B Jones stories on audio for my disabled daughter. She can't read or even hold a book, but she loves to listen to stories. She (my daughter) is non-verbal, but comes alive when we put a Junie B CD on. She likes us to read to her too, but I get the feeling she likes Lana Quintal's voice better. The nurses who care for our daughter also love these CD's. One of them used to even play the stories when my daughter was asleep and just shake with silent laughter over Junie B's antics. br /br /So if you've got kids, or nurses, or just want to remember what it feels like to look at the big crazy world through the eyes of a 6 year old I strongly suggest you try this collection of stories on CD.br /br /
