Product Description p Lizzie Nichols has a problem: she can't keep anything to herself. And when she opens her big mouth on a trip to London, her good intentions get her long-distance beau, Andrew, in major hot water. Now she's stuck in England with no boyfriend and no place to stay until the departure date on her nonrefundable airline ticket. Fortunately, Lizzie's best friend and college roommate, Shari, is spending her summer catering weddings in a sixteenth-century chateau in southern France. Who cares if Lizzie's never traveled alone in her life and only speaks rudimentary French? She's off to Souillac to lend a helping hand! /p p One glimpse of gorgeous Chateau Mirac#8212;and of gorgeous Luke, the son of the chateau's owner#8212;and Lizzie's smitten. But thanks to her chronic inability to keep a secret, before the first cork has been popped Luke hates her, the bride is in tears, and Chateau Mirac is on the road to becoming a lipo-recovery spa. Add to that the arrival of ex-beau Andrew, who's looking for "closure" (or at least a loan), and ieverything/i#8212;including Lizzie's shot at true love#8212;is in ila toilette/i . . . unless she can figure out some way to use her big mouth to save the day. /p

Fun fun fun December 11, 2008 Written by the author of the Princess Diaries, this novel is a hilarious entry to the adult chick-lit genre. It will especially appeal to those in their 20s and early 30s as it follows recent college graduate, Lizzie Nichols.br /Before graduation, Lizzie fell in love with a British RA who she incidentally, met in the girls shower when he alerted her of a fire alarm. They only spent a few days together before he moved back home to London, but they kept in touch via e-mail. Instead of going to France with her best friends, Lizzie is going to visit and stay with him for a month. While there, things go awry because of her big mouth and her summer ends in a completely different place than it began.br /br /Lizzie is a very realistic character whose big mouth and babbling often get her into humorous situations. I would recommend this to younger fans of the chick-lit genre.
Funny Entertaining November 24, 2008 I have to say I think Im a little bias. I dont think I have picked up a Meg Cabot book I didnt like. It took me a few chapters to start liking Lizzie, the books main character. At first she comes off a bit whiny and you really think she needs to grow up but through out the book she starts to change and you really get the sense that she is growing with her experiences. Cabot does an amazing job making her characters come to life through their experiences. br /br /I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys light hearted romanace.

Queen of Chick Lit November 10, 2008 I love Meg Cabot and her books. I discovered her a few years ago and have made my way through every one of her adult books and the Queen of Babble ones have got to be my favorite!
CUTE READ September 8, 2008 Meg has the teenage jargon down! Cute storyline and her clever writing technique really makes the personalities real!
