4 out of 5 stars Alright   November 15, 2007

I read this book when I was a teenager. I was really into astral projection and lucid dreaming at the time, and I thought it was cool that a teen author would actually incorporate something like that into a book. Even if it was about a homosexual girl, it was still fun to read.

1 out of 5 stars shameful   July 23, 2007

I wish I could give this even fewer stars. It is despicable that there are authors peddling books to our children that encourage not only premarital sexual behavior, but perverse behavior at that. Shame on Lauren Myracle.

Just okay, at best. Reading it wasn't a complete waste of time, but I could have read something else and never missed it.

5 out of 5 stars Mackenzie's Reveiw   March 10, 2006

Kissing Katebr /Kissing Kate was a book about a girl who fell in love with her best friend and they kissed one night. Later on in the book they got into a fight and stopped being friends, when they would talk it were more like arguing. This girl could not just get over her friend, she really liked her.br /I believe that society can relate to this. Because I know a lot of girls experiment with girls to experiment and that's what happened with them. It just happened that one of the girls liked the other. br /I would recommend this book to a lot of people because it shows you a different view on everything. After reading this I didn't care if someone was lesbian or gay it changed my whole perspective and I realized that if they love someone than go for it, you know? I think I grasped a lot of why people experiment through this book also. br /

4 out of 5 stars A look into a teenagers life   April 27, 2005

This book was well written and was honestly a great look at how teens might act in a situiation like this. Imagine kissing your best friend... but your a girl and so is your best friend. Your confused and really not sure what to make of any of it. Then the friend you kissed leaves you out in the cold. A hardship thats faced by many teens around the world. How do these two girls deal with it?
