Amazon.com Review There are a few important things to remember when you wear underwear. "Do put your clean underwear away," for example. "Don't put it in the freezer." Furthermore, "do dress up your dog in underwear." But "don't use your sister's favorite pair." Certainly "do wear underwear when you go trick-or-treating." But please, "don't wear it over your costume." Keep all these lessons in mind when wearing underwear, and you can never go wrong.p Todd Parr's silly little book will have readers of all ages rolling in the aisles. The book is very simple--basically just a list of do's and don'ts, no introduction, no grand finale. Just some helpful hints for those who might otherwise forget and bring their new underwear for show-and-tell instead of just wearing it on the first day of school. Parr's trademark, as seen in IDo's and Don'ts/I and IThe Feelings Book/I, is terrifically bold, vivid slabs of color--some of the stick-figure childlike illustrations feature blue-faced or green-pigtailed children. For those young readers who are getting ready to shed those diapers and enter the exciting world of big-boy or big-girl underpants, this is an absolute must. (Ages 3 to 6) I--Emilie Coulter/I

Underwear is Funny July 17, 2008 For children, underwear is funny. I think many would find this book funny, too. The dos and don'ts are, of course, goofy (like "Do put your clean underwear away, but don't put it in the freezer"). It has big bright pictures to illustrate each do and don't. To get a giggle out of child, it is hard to go wrong with a book about underwear (just saying the word is sometimes enough). If your preschooler enjoys silly books, then DO buy this one, but DON'T be mad at me if your child does not like it (children are difficult to predict sometimes and who knows your child better than you?).
Underwear is funny! February 11, 2008 Our four-year-old son loves this book, because, let's face it, underwear is funny! After just a couple of readings, he was "reading" it back to us in very exaggerated fashion.
Who knew underwear would be so popular? April 29, 2007 Obviously, Todd Parr. I bought this book for a theme program in my elementary library, and it was a huge hit, even with third graders! I also took it to my daughter's daycare and read it to three- and four-year-olds. Highly recommended!

For the past 3 years I have given nothing but Todd Parr books to all my friend's w/ new babies. They are amazing. Unique, colorful, fun - I simply love them. Plus, Todd looks at families from all points of view. And even if your family is the most traditional on the block, your kids should be aware that all families are not the same. I promise you won't be diappointed. Get them all - you'll simply love them.
